Despite the unclement conditions on Shrove Tuesday, the Castle View Sales Team braved the weather messing up their hair and donned cartoon housewife attire to take part in Windsor's Annual Pancake Race.
We very nearly got through to the final, but just got pipped at the post. It was a photo finish.
Still we got our photo in the papers so it wasn't all bad!

Last week, potential residents were treated to the CEO of Castle Retirement Living, Robin Hughes and our Financial Director James Sarmencanic, getting involved at Windsor Waitrose. Chatting to local residents about Castle View and living in Windsor.
If you see us around and want some answers then the top management are usually not too far away!
Come and say hello and give us some feedback

We don't want to just serve any old food we want to serve the food that you want to eat, at prices you want to pay.
To make sure we get it right, some volunteers from Windsor Boys School, as part of a wider school project, have designed a questionnaire for our potential residents. You will see them out and about in Windsor collecting information about your favourite meals. Do stop and chat to them if you see them.

The scaffolding will start to come now in sections and is due to be completely clear in March.
It is looking fabulous and just like the all the architects pictures and CGI's that we've worked with for so long. This picture shows the care home nearest to the road and roundabout. The independent living apartments are nearer the tennis club, away from the road.
We're definitely on our home run and still on schedule to open Oct 2018.
If you're interested in Castle View why not come to one of our coffee mornings ? For more details for dates available click on the coffee mug on the home page.

Potential residents enjoyed a site visit and the rooftop views at Castle View. Don't look up the crane is passing overhead!
Site visits are exciting at Castle View as progress is rapid, but it is a working site and building work is going on around us. Thought it might be interesting to see an action shot with the crane in full view overhead.
We had a beautiful day for the rooftops views. The Sky Lounge is already beginning to come into its own.
If you fancy coming to the next site visit, join us Thursday 22nd February 11am Windsor Tennis Club.
Sky Lounge blooming!

You will see from the outside that the windows are being fitted and brickwork is starting to appear. But there is equal activity going on inside.
Partition walls are being erected and we took the first resident to her apartment last week, where she could actually walk into all her rooms and balcony. The very first stages of bathroom fitting are also underway. This photo is a picture of a corridor leading to apartments.
