Over 20 residents and friends arrived for a fabulous Sunday Lunch during a very successful Open Weekend.
Proving Lisa Fisher, our Village Manager, is no stranger to having fun.
We have recently acquired 14 flags and flag poles to highlight our marvellous site and Nigel, single handedly, has had the pleasure of erecting each one! Do appreciate his hard work as you drive past. I think he's managed 8 to date and the rest will follow shortly. They really do look superb and are very eye catching.
Well they certainly cheered up Lisa Fisher, Castle View's Village Manager and James Sarmecanic, our Finance Director today when the Alpaca's made a visit to our site.
66 people attended their regular U3A meeting today and many then too took advantage of a tour around Castle View.
If you would like a tour too just call 01753 378127 and book an appointment.
Again so lovely to see so many friendships being made. Everyone mingled and chatted. Our Castle View community is well underway!
None of our special occassions are complete now without Caz's special touches. Afternoon tea, fish and chip Fridays and Wednesday night suppers are now regular fixtures in our week.
Two representatives from Berkshire Birds of Prey had popped in to say hello and were quite an attraction. So popular were they, that we will definitely be organising some events with them in the future. Watch this space!
Looking forward to views of a snow laden Windsor Castle. I believe next Thursday may be the day. Watch this space.....
At least 20 residents and friends enjoyed lunch in our restaurant today. Provided scrumptiously by Caz Hughes, previously Squires Garden Centres catering manger.
Residents enjoyed, among others, leek and potato soup, ham, egg and chips and jelly and ice cream.
Enjoying ham, egg and chips, sandwiches, soup and the most amazing lemon meringue pie and sponges and custard. All washed down with some rather nice wine!!
Caz Hughes, formerly Squires Catering Manger, did us proud! Our first taster lunch a resounding success!
