The library is a quiet room to be involved but also to be quiet and read the paper, or a book. It has floor to celing glass doors that can opened out onto an outside area on warmer days.
Castle View is still on schedule for opeing on 25th October 2018 and the fitting out is going on a pace. The reception area, bar and lounge area are really coming on. If you would like to come and see progress why not come along to our Open Day on 29th September 2018. We are taking tours on site all day from10am-6pm just report to the Tennis Club.

As Castle View enters its final gallop, all our reserved residents were invited to view their apartments, some for the first time.
There was a lot of excitement. There is still much activity on site, so hard hats, high viz and big boots had to be donned but we managed to get to all floors and spend an hour or so taking vital measurements between plug sockets etc, determining where pieces of furniture new or existing will fit.
Castle View is still on schedue to open on 25th October 2018.

At last, our personal Drone shot, reveals the first glimpses of the final look of Castle View. Matching the CGI images we have been working with for so long, the first glimpses of Castle View are impressive.
Right on schedule to open this Autumn, we expect our first residents to be moving in from 7th November.

We took tours on site all day long and the response was resoundingly positive.
Castle View came alive with local residents visiting our show apartments and rooftop, complete with our guest bagpipest Alistair to create a very regal atmosphere.
It was so successful we will definitely be planning another one so watch this space for details.

The weather was fantastic and Alistair brought an unusual musical interlude to the building site. Giving us renditions of well known tunes such as Scotland the Brave and Amazing Grace and he also took a few requests.
With the lifts now working, visitors were taken to the rooftop in seconds and many for the first time, saw the privileged and rarely seen views of Windsor Castle from our Sky Lounge.

On Saturday 23rd June from 10am-5.30pm no appointment is necessary. Ypu just report to Windsor Tennis Club at your convenience and we will taking escorted tours on site all day long.
There are four apartments to see, one bed, two bed and three bedroomed. All with slightly different layouts and aspects. They really show off what life will be like at Castle View.
If you've been driving past for years and wondered what it is all about, then now is the time to satisfy your curiosity. Come and take a look and see what has gone on behind the hoardings all these years.

The project is still right on schedule and due to open Autumn 2018. This is down to our dedicated workmen of Castle Oak working to a very high standard and to good communication. Any snags have been ironed out ahead of time and issues openly discussed to give a calm, measured and quantifiable approach to building Castle View.
120 men joined us for chicken curry and rice to celebrate our progress so far and to thank them for all their dedication. We were situated on the roof top adjacent to the Sky Lounge, taking in the view of Windsor.
Robin Hughes, CEO, Castle Retirment Living, awarded prizes for some of the most unusual achievements. From laying over 80 miles of cabling, to some deoderant for the project manager who walks 11 miles around the site every day checking progress!!
Lots of laughter, smiles and applause. A good day.

They have done a magnificent job and our hoardings now display the pictures of the finalists. Remember they are all under 11 years old!
Fantastic work - let's hope Harry and Meghan get a glimpse of them!!

As usual getting right involved in the community is Castle View's style and what better way than to get stuck in at Windsor and Eton Bowling Club.
As you can see from the pictures,Castle View provided this brand new scoreboards which should remain in the club for many years.
If you're a member of the bowling club and fancy seeing what Castle View is all about why not come to our Open Day on Saturday 23rd June. The site will be open all day to view our show apartments. Tours of the site start from Windsor Tennis Club right next door to the site.

The challenge was to create an image to celebrate Meghan and Harry's wedding. We received dozens of entries and the standard was very high.
After much deliberation the Castle View Management Team selected a small number for deliberation. This small selection will be displayed on the hoarding around the site. A prime position as people move in and out of Windsor.
We particularly liked Rayyans use of colour and very bold and clear representation of Meghan and Harry, very accurate portraits.
Well done to all of the children at Clewer Green - you did yourselves proud.

Castle View will be open all day 10am - 6pm on Saturday 23rd June - with four amazing show apartments to see. For the first time the lifts will be working and access will be easy to the site.
No need to book, just park at Windsor Tennis Club and walk to the site, we will look after you from there and you can come and discover what Castle View is all about.

The girls have been invited to take shots of Windsor, buildings, people, action shots, lifestyle, artistic angles etc. The winner's picture will be framed and displayed in Castle View when we open in October.
Lisa also spent time explaining the project and progress at Castle View. All the girls will be invited to come on site in the summer to see for themselves the retirement village unfolding and give their verdict on our fabulous show apartments.
In the meantime we can't wait to see their interpretation of Windsor life through their photos. Good luck girls!
